Culver Township is a township in Saint Louis County, Minnesota, United States. Highway 2 runs east–west along Culver Township's southern boundary line with adjacent Stoney Brook Township. The unincorporated community of Culver, within Culver Township, is located 27 miles northwest of the city of Duluth at the junction of Saint Louis County Highway 7 (CR 7) and County Road 8 (CR 8). The city of Brookston is located within Culver Township geographically but is a separate entity. A portion of Culver Township is located within the Fond du Lac Indian Reservation. ==History== Culver Township was named for Joshua B. Culver, first mayor of Duluth, Minnesota.
